Whether you’re traveling from across the globe or just across town, this page has all the important info to make your stay smooth and stress-free. From check-in details and amenities to nearby spots we love, transportation tips, and what to expect during your stay — it’s all right here. We want every guest to feel at home, prepared, and excited for a truly cozy experience.

Minimum Stay & Reservation Change Policy

Please Note:

We do not accommodate hourly stays or one-night-only reservations.

 

A minimum stay of 3 nights is required for all bookings.

Exceptions may be made only if availability allows — please call or email us directly to inquire about short-stay options.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT 

Check-In & Arrival Info Check-in is STARTS at 3 PM. Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance. Late Check-In Fees: •10PM — $30 •11PM and beyond -$50 If no arrival time is provided, there may be a 1–2 hour wait upon your arrival. If there are any unforeseen delays or room issues on the day of your arrival, we reserve a 1-hour grace period for final preparations. If your flight arrives early, you may drop off luggage starting at 10:30 AM. Arrivals before 10 AM may incur a fee. ⸻ Check-Out & Departure Info Check-out is at 11:00 AM sharp. If you require additional time please let us know. If you remain in the unit without a grace period : •$25 per additional 30 minutes •Full day charge applies if the suite is not vacated on time If you need to leave very early, arrangements must be made in advance. Early Room Access: If a guest room is opened early (before check-in) or an unreserved room is accessed, a fee starting at $75 or half a day’s stay will be added to your total. Luggage Hold (After Check-Out): •$5 per hour •$25 for the full day •More than 6 items or oversized packages may incur a $10–$15 handling fee ⸻ Other Notes We are not responsible for lost luggage. If your airline delivers lost luggage to the inn after hours, a $25 courtesy fee will be applied.

VISITOR & OCCUPANCY POLICY

Visitor & Occupancy Policy All room rates apply for 2 people ONLY! Every person in the room counts towards the occupancy. All children must be at least 8 years old to occupy the room. Child friendly rooms are limited. Please, email for additional information. To maintain the comfort and safety of all guests, any visitor or additional party in a unit who: •Is not listed on the reservation, •Has not signed the official receipt agreement, and •Has not paid the additional third-party occupancy fee must leave the unit by 12:00 AM midnight. If they remain beyond that time, they will be considered an overnight guest and charged a $50 fee per person, per night. ⸻ Single Occupancy Agreement If your unit has been designated as single occupancy from the start of your stay, the original agreement must be honored. Allowing an additional person to stay in the unit voids the original agreement, and: •A new agreement must be signed, and •Additional charges will apply for any new guests added.

Included in Every Room: •Climate Comfort: Air conditioning (seasonal), ceiling fans •Modern Kitchenettes: Equipped with coffee/tea makers, toasters, ovens, stovetops, refrigerators, microwaves, stainless steel pots, silverware, blenders, and toaster ovens •Dining Space: Eating area within the unit •Entertainment & Essentials: High-definition TVs, alarm clocks, irons and boards, hair dryers, high-speed wireless internet •Bath Amenities: Private or shared bathrooms (based on unit), towels, washcloths, hand towels, signature body soaps, hair towels for color-treated hair •Comfort Features: High ceilings, wooden floors, pillow-top bedding, silk pillows, high thread count linens, couches, and select rooms with jacuzzi tubs, showers, and/or bathtubs ⸻ ❄️ Air Conditioning Policy Each room includes a window-mounted air conditioner, located just below the window, installed seasonally between May 15–30, or earlier if temperatures remain consistently above 70–80°F. As we are located in a historic landmark building, rooms are naturally designed to stay cool with: •50–57” ceiling fan blades •Large operable windows (90” x 42”) for fresh airflow Please Note: Air conditioners are removed by October 15 or sooner if outdoor temperatures drop consistently to 50°F or below. ⸻ 🍳 Kitchen Comforts (No Breakfast Served) While we do not serve breakfast, each unit is fully equipped with: •Coffee makers •Tea kettles •Toasters & toaster ovens •Cooking burners •Blenders •Stainless steel cookware and silverware Enjoy the convenience of cooking right in your room—a great way to save money while traveling! Plus, we’re surrounded by fantastic local restaurants, cafes, and nearby delivery options to satisfy every craving.

HOUSEKEEPING POLICY

🧺 Housekeeping Policy Please note: We do not offer daily maid service. This means we do not enter your room daily to clean, refresh towels, or change bed linens. However, we guarantee that your room will be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and fully stocked with essentials upon your arrival. While we may not fulfill every special request, we are always here to support you. If there’s anything you need—PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE don’t hesitate to let us know! ⸻ Extended Stay Linen & Towel Service: •Towels are refreshed every 4 days, or sooner upon request in case of an emergency. •Bed linens are refreshed every 5–6 days for stays of 7 days or longer. If you’d like them changed earlier for any reason, just let us know—we’re happy to assist!

SPECIFIC DISCLAIMER 

🔥 ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED NEVER–EVER: •Use candles, open flames, or fire of any kind anywhere on the property. •Smoke inside any unit or anywhere on the building premises. •Use tape, nails, adhesives, or hang/apply any item to walls, tables, pipes, ceilings, windows, drapes, appliances, or furnishings. NEVER–EVER: •Move, rearrange, drag, or relocate any furniture or décor, including beds, couches, tables, flowers, vases, mirrors, televisions, appliances (microwaves, coffee machines, etc.). If something needs to be adjusted, only management is authorized to assist. NEVER–EVER: •Place personal items such as luggage, coats, garments, electronics, food, flower petals, candles, or outside bedding (pillows, linens, blankets) on the bed. ⸻ 💥 DAMAGES We reserve the right to charge the full cost of any damage to fixtures, furnishings, or property caused by the guest, including improper handling of furniture, appliances, or décor. ⸻ 🧼 DEPARTURE CLEANING & SANITIZING FEE A mandatory cleaning and sanitizing fee is applied to all units after departure. Before checkout, please: •Remove all decorative pillows and bed covers and place them aside for sanitizing purposes. •Replacement bed coverings and pillows are available in your closet. ⸻ 🚫 WINDOW HANDLING POLICY Please do not open, close, or adjust the windows, blinds, shades, or curtains. Only housekeeping or management may operate these features. Improper handling may cause damage to: •Curtains or blinds •Wooden window balances •Window glass or frames We are not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by guest misuse. ⸻ ⚠️ POLICY REMINDERS •Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a deduction from your refundable security deposit. •Only one discount may be applied per reservation. •All discounts are valid only when booking directly through The International Cozy Inn. •No discounts apply on major holidays.

CANCELLATION POLICY

📅 Cancellation & Reservation Policy At The International Cozy Inn, we aim to provide a fair and respectful experience for all guests. Please review our cancellation and modification policies carefully before confirming your reservation. ⸻ 🔁 Cancellation Policy •14 days or fewer before arrival: A 60% cancellation fee of the total reservation balance will apply. •Same-day cancellations: A 100% cancellation fee will apply. •Holiday bookings: All cancellations before arrival will be charged a 100% cancellation fee of the total balance. ⸻ 🛏️ Reservation Changes After Arrival If you arrive and choose to reduce the number of nights or number of guests, you are still responsible for the full balance of the original reservation. ⸻ 🌟 Peak vs. Non-Peak Travel Adjustments •During peak season or holiday travel, any reduction in stay after arrival will be charged 100% of the original reservation. •During non-peak periods, you will be charged 50% of each day reduced, and any previously applied discounts will be void. Important: All cancellations or shortened stays void any discounted pricing. You will be charged the original full nightly rate. ⸻ 🗓️ Temporary Monthly Stay Policy (30 Days or More) •Only the guest(s) listed on the agreement are allowed to reside in the unit. •Unauthorized guests or visitors staying overnight will result in the agreement becoming immediately void, and you will be asked to vacate and charged an additional guest fee. •If your stay is shortened to fewer than 30 days, the temporary monthly rate is void, and the standard daily rate will apply for all nights stayed. ⸻ 💳 Payment Upon Arrival •Full payment is due upon arrival. •If the balance is not paid within 24 hours, you may be asked to vacate the premises, and all applicable cancellation and fee policies will be enforced.

NOISE/ DISTURBANCE POLICY

🔇 Noise Disturbance Policy At The International Cozy Inn, we are committed to providing a peaceful and relaxing environment for all guests. Please be respectful of others by keeping noise levels low at all times, especially during late evening and early morning hours. •If a noise complaint is received, you will be issued a courtesy warning. •A second complaint will result in you being required to vacate the premises without refund. We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain a serene experience for everyone.

FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

🎥 Filming & Photography Policy To protect the privacy and comfort of all our guests, The International Cozy Inn strictly prohibits: •Photography •Photo shoots •Video or film recording •Live streaming or social media broadcasting Unauthorized media production of any kind—including recording, broadcasting, or transmitting content—is not permitted anywhere on the premises. If you would like to request permission or make special arrangements, please contact the hotel directly in advance.

🚫 EXCESSIVE GUESTS/ LUGGAGE/ ITEMS & GARBAGE POLICY

The International Cozy Inn provides private, thoughtfully designed units for families and travelers. To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following rules are strictly enforced: ⸻ 🔥 Fire Code & Safety Compliance Rooms must be maintained in the same orderly and clean condition as upon arrival. To comply with New York City Fire Code, rooms must not be overcrowded with: •Excessive luggage, boxes, bags, garbage, personal furniture, or strollers •Unregistered or unauthorized guests Violations may result in fines to our hotel, which will be charged to the guest. We reserve the right to ask any additional or unregistered guests to vacate immediately if the unit is deemed overcrowded or unsafe. ⸻ 🧳 Luggage & Storage Guidelines This is not a relocation or storage facility. Each guest is permitted a maximum of 2–3 average-size pieces of luggage. The following items are not permitted in the unit: •Boxes or shipping crates •Personal furniture •Bicycles or baby strollers •Bulk deliveries or oversized packages Packages delivered to the Inn must not exceed the size of a standard carry-on suitcase. If luggage or items exceed the allowed amount, a surcharge will apply, or access may be denied. ⸻ 🗑️ Garbage Disposal •Use only the designated trash bins in your unit. •Guests are responsible for disposing of any trash that exceeds bin capacity. •Do not leave large amounts of garbage in the unit or shared spaces. •If you need help locating the disposal area, please ask management for instructions. ⸻ 👥 Guest Limits & Visitor Policy •Only the number of guests listed on the reservation may occupy the unit. •Unauthorized overnight guests will incur a $50 fee per person, per night and may result in cancellation of the stay. •No excessive gatherings or visitors beyond your registered group are allowed. ⸻ ⚠️ Important Notice Failure to follow these policies may result in: •Additional cleaning fees •Fines or surcharges •Deduction from your security deposit •Immediate termination of your stay without refund We ask all guests to help us maintain the peaceful, respectful atmosphere that makes The International Cozy Inn special. 🧳 LOST & LEFT-BEHIND ITEMS POLICY

The International Cozy Inn is not responsible for any items left behind, lost, or forgotten after your departure. We kindly ask that you thoroughly check your room before leaving to ensure all personal belongings are packed and accounted for. ⸻ 📦 Shipping Left-Behind Items If an item is left behind and you request it to be returned: •Shipping fees range from $20 to $75, depending on the weight, packaging, and destination. •You may also send a pre-paid, self-addressed envelope or shipping label if you prefer to arrange return shipment yourself. •An additional handling fee will be charged for the time and materials required to package and deliver your item(s) to the U.S. Postal Service or shipping provider.

🐾 Pets Policy Please Note: Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises or inside any of the guest units at The International Cozy Inn. This policy is strictly enforced to maintain the comfort, cleanliness, and safety of all guests.

We Are A Family Inn

The International Cozy inn can be described as a family inn/ lodge for a short temporary stay. We are not considered a hotel but we provide amenities to make you feel as if you are in a New York home environment. Please consider us a temporary home away from home.
